it's my sister's birthday...

but it's just another day.
i really don't get a long with my sister.
my only sister....
as my mom says, it's jealousy.

i guess you can say it's because dad has always been there for me.
he was there from the conception til now.
and my sister only saw on him on the weekends or holidays.
so there was hatred between the two of us.
i thought that since she is my sister, we should get along.
we should love each other and she should look out for me because she is my big sister.

but guess what?
that didn't happen.
she didn't even acknowledge me as her sister.
and that hurts, but y'know what?
i moved on.
i don't let it bother me anymore.
she doesn't even call me or dad on our birthdays to wish us a happy birthday.
i don't know how to get a hold of her to wish her one, but y'know, i'm gonna wish her one.

Sooo....

This Saturday, I'm meeting my brother for the FIRST time. I know about him, and I've talked to him a few times, but never met him. People are surprised with when I've told them this.
YES.
I have siblings.
On my dad's side.
I'm the youngest of six.

And I always thought I was the only kid since I was the only one in the house.
But that all changed when I started to see my brothers and sister a lot more.

BUT I have two brothers I've never met.
And I'm finally meeting the actual oldest. (Even though, my brother Donald says HE'S the oldest.)

I'm nervous and excited. I don't know what to expect. I've seen pictures of him, and he looks just like my dad just with red hair, blue eyes and freckles. It's weird looking at a picture and seeing my father in him. I'm ready to meet him. Hopefully, I can have some kind of both with him like I do with my other brothers and sister. Lets pray that when this day comes, it goes smoothly.

he really hasn't had a break since his mother's passing.
instead of him, working and doing what he does best...
he should have taken the time to grieve before coming back out with 808s and Heartbreak.
so i'm happy that he is going to take a break.
